about the festival

WCHFF 2018: Saturday October 27th -- Cinema Salem

Salem, MA is nationally celebrated as an epicenter for supernatural, the macabre, and all things Halloween. The city’s roots back to the Salem Witch trials have left a large cultural footprint, inspiring generations of artists, including filmmakers.

While classic mainstream and cult horror films are perineal, the Witch City Horror Film Festival celebrates the creativity and modern innovation of local and regional filmmakers of the horror genre.

2018 marks the first annual WCHFF to be held at Cinema Salem on Saturday October 27th, during Halloween weekend.
